West Java Police Chief (Kapolda Jabar) Inspector General (Irjen) Suntana visited Pangandaran to review the construction plan of the Pangandaran Police Headquarters (Mapolres Pangandaran), observe the vaccination program to the community, and give assistance to the people around the temporary Mapolres Pangandaran
“There are two things that we did in this visit, first to review the readiness of Mapolres Pangandaran and the later is to observe the vaccination program,” said Kapolda Suntana, Wednesday (16/2/2022).
Irjen Suntana also expressed his gratitude to the Pangandaran Regency Authorities for lending the regional secretariat office as their Mapolres Pangandaran in the meantime.
“With the support of Pangandaran Regency Authorities, the former regional secretariat office was fully lent to us. With this, we aim to enhance our performance in securing the security,” stated Kapolda in his statement.
The construction of Mapolres Pangandaran was planned to begin in 2023. “Hopefully in 2023 the construction of Mapolres Pangandaran 2023 can begin,” said Kapolda.
Kapolda also stated that the vaccination in Pangandaran is going well. Pangandaran itself is still level-1 PPKM.
“According to the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Imendagri) No. 10, Pangandaran is the only one from West Java regencies/cities that is still level 1," he explained.
