inp.polri.go.id - Yogyakarta. The students of Bleber Elementary School, Sumberharjo, Prambanan, Sleman participated in the Covid-19 vaccination which was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. The activity was reviewed directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, who was accompanied by the National Police Chief through a zoom meeting, on Thursday (17/2/22).
Yogyakarta Special Region Police Chief (Kapolda DIY) Inspector General (Irjen) Drs. Asep Suhendar, M.Sc., came directly to the school to observe the vaccine inoculation at SD Bleber, accompanied by the high officials of the DIY Regional Police (Polda DIY), the Sleman Police Chief (Kapolres Sleman), Kodim 0732, Prambanan Police Chief (Kapolsek Prambanan and Prambanan Panewu.
In that inoculation, 1122 doses of the Sinovac vaccine were injected to Bleber Elementary School students aged 6-11 years. There was 55 personnel from the National Police, the health service, and volunteers involved in the vaccination program, said The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Kapolda DIY Commissioner Yuliyanto, S.I.K., M.Sc. to the reporters.
"The President held an interactive dialogue with regional heads in West Java, Central Java, and Papua as well as other regions through Zoom. The President directly asked about the progress and efforts made in their vaccination program by each region. President Joko Widodo also thanked the regions that have worked hard to accelerate the vaccination," said Kabid Humas Polda DIY.
He added that the vaccination was aimed to support the return of schools during the pandemic. “Therefore, the President, through the National Police Chief, ensures that the vaccination of children aged 6-11 years runs according to the target." concluded the Kabid Humas DIY.
