Aceh Police Chief (Kapolda Aceh) Inspector General (Irjen) Drs. Ahmad Haydar, S.H., M.M., highly appreciate the high achievement of 2021 vaccines in Gayo Lues Regency, which indicates a form of hard work and good synergy from all those involved.
"I appreciate the vaccine achievement in Gayo Lues, which has shown an increase. We also encourage more of this, which has been slowing down in this early year,” said the Aceh Police Chief during his working visit to Gayo Lues, Friday (18/2/2022).
Regarding the misinformation of vaccines, Kapolda Aceh, reminded the community to not be swayed by a hoax, because the vaccines have been proven safe by many labs.
Because of this, Kapolda Aceh emphasized that all parties should participate in socializing the implementation of vaccines, especially vaccines for children. "Parents should not worry about child vaccines," said the Two-Star General.
On the other hand, Gayo Regent H. Muhammad Amru, M.S.P., said that so far vaccination activities have been carried out optimally, thanks to all elements synergizing, both from the TNI and the Police, as well as medical officers.
On this occasion, the Regent also went directly to the field to motivate the community. “The results are very encouraging, now people are disciplined and there are no more cases of coronavirus. I think all people have been vaccinated, except for those who have health problems," said Muhammad Amru.
Regarding children's vaccines, there are still many parents who are reluctant to allow their children to be vaccinated by medical staff. In fact, it is not uncommon for officers to come to schools and homes to vaccinate children, but several of them are still refused.
The observation of Kapolda was accompanied by the Direskrimsus Commissioner Sony Sanjaya, S.I.K., Director of Narcotics Investigation, Commissioner Sony Sonjaya, S.I.K., Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Commissioner Winardy, S. H., S. I. K., M. Si., and their entourage, who were greeted directly by the Regent of Gayo Lues.
