inp.polri.go.id - Palangkaraya. The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Central Kalimantan Police (Polda Kalteng), Commissioner K. Eko Saputro, S.H., M.H., urged the public to immediately report if they know any indication of cooking oil hoarding activity.
"Indeed, currently cooking oil in the traditional market is rather scarce. However, if there is an activity in the hoarding of cooking oil, please straight away report it to the police for further action," said Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng.
Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng emphasized that Polda Kalteng continued to monitor the issue of the scarcity of cooking oil that had occurred in the Central Kalimantan region for the past few weeks.
The scarcity of cooking oil and the unstable selling price in the market have attracted the attention of the local police. The police continue to investigate the issue related to the high selling price and the vacant stock of cooking oil at the same time.
"We have checked the market and places that have been selling cooking oil, it is indeed rare," explained Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng.
Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng asked the public to stay calm regarding the scarcity of cooking oil that was currently happening.
"Hopefully this issue that is happening nationally will be over soon, so everything will return to as usual," concluded Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng.
