Kalteng Authorities Implore Citizens to Adhere the Covid-19 Restrictions

To anticipate the spike in Covid-19 cases because of Omicron, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda) continues to appeal to the people to continue obeying the health protocols by complying 5M, Saturday (12/02/2022) said Police Chief (Polda Kalteng), Inspector General (Irjen) Drs. Kabid Humas Kalteng said that the appeal was intended for the public not to be careless and to remain alert to the new variant of the Covid-19, Omicron.

"We will keep giving socialization to raise public awareness of the importance of complying with the restrictions," explained Commissioner K. Eko Saputro, S.H., M.H.

"On the other hand, the implementation of 5M such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, reducing mobility, washing hands, and avoiding crowds must still be carried out, for the common good," said the Head of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police.

Kabid Humas Kalteng hopes the public cooperation in suppressing this new wave of Covid-19 will be further enhanced. So that the number of cases can be reduced.

"We expect the community will take an active role in maintaining security, order, and harmony between each other. In addition, we also urge the public not to be easily provoked by news that is not necessarily true or hoaxes and remember to always comply with health protocols," concluded Kabid Humas.
