inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Chief Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas), Inspector General (Irjen) Drs. Firman Santyabudi, M.Sc., observe directly to Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, following the event of MotoGP 2022.
"We want to make sure that all preparations in the airport is secure because the arrangements at that location must really be prepared, including police personnel," explained the Kakorlantas Polri in a written statement in Jakarta, Friday (4/2/2022).
He stated that Korlantas Polri will coordinate closely with Polda NTB and will accept any recommendation or suggestion regarding MotoGP 2022.
"We have heard the input from the organizers, late,r we will continue the meeting at the NTB Police Headquarters and provide directions to the police officers," he said.
The Two-Star General also explained that his staff would disseminate information to the surrounding community regarding the traffic flow so that the event can run smoothly.
"We are aware that this circuit is still in the vicinity of the residents, which of course requires a different treatment when the ‘event’ takes place because the public definitelymust be informed," he said.
Kakorlantas hopes that the people of Lombok will welcome the 2022 MotoGP racing event happily because they are now the host of the event.
"These are the things that I consider important to be done immediately, both internal officers, committees, and the community themselves are the determining factors," he explained.
In his observasion, Kakorlanas was accompanied by Dirgakkum, Brigadier General Aan Suhanan, and Dirkamsel, Brigadier General Chryshnanda.
