Cassowary Program Assistance by the Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan, S.I.K., M.H., at the Papua Regional Police (Polda Papua), which was attended by 5 police chiefs in the Cartenz Peace Operation area, ready to realize a good and prosperous Papuan economic growth, Thursday (24/02).
The Cassowary or welfare program for the state is expected to have a significant impact on improving the welfare of the people in the 5 regions, which are Intan Jaya, Bintang Mountains, Nduga, Yahukimo, and Puncak.
According to Security Guard Agency Community Development Corps (Kakorbinmas), the cassowary programs include stockbreeding, agriculture, plantations, and fisheries. The results of those programs then can be distributed or sold outside the region to later improve the economy of the people in these areas.
"The stockbreeders and farmers will later be provided with assistance from the relevant agencies to improve the capabilities of the breeders and farmers," said Kakorbinmas of the National Police.
