A joint team consisting of the TNI, Polri, BPBD, Basarnas, and community agencies as well as other volunteers, conducted a search and rescue for victims of landslides caused by the earthquake that occurred in Pasaman Regency, specifically in Jorong Guguk, Nagari Malampah, Tigo Nagari District, Pasaman Regency, Sunday (27/2).
"Officers are still searching for the missing victims. It is suspected that the landslide was triggered by the earthquake last Friday," stated the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the West Sumatra Police (Polda Sumbar), Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto, S.Ik., Sunday (27/2) during a review in Pasaman.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumbar said that they had dispatched several Ditsamapta and Satbrimbob personnel to assist the evacuation, and also the sniffer dogs from the K-9 unit also carried out the search.
"Hopefully the victim can be found quickly," hoped Kabid Humas Polda Sumbar.
