Police Prepares Anticipatory Measure as Traffic Predicted to Surge Ahead New Year Eve

Police predicted that the traffic would increase as 2023 New Year Eve looms. The surge predicted would begin at Friday, December 30th, 2022, to Monday, January 2nd, 2023. For that, police have prepared several anticipative measures to handle traffic congestions.

The Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, says that the prediction is based on information from the Traffic Corps and surveys done by the Ministry of Transportation. In response, his party have done several measures to prevent any congestions in traffic, particularly in this holiday season.

“We will do it optimally, we will anticipate traffics in toll roads, tourist destinations, malls, places of worship, airports, and ports,” says Inspectro General Dedi Prasetyo, Monday (12/26).
