Tribratanews.polri.go.id - In securing Christmas and New Year Holidays at Biak Numfor Regency, the Vice Regent of Biak Numfor, Calvin Masnembra, led the rally of Lilin Cartenz Operation 2022 personnel at Biak Numfor Police HQ, Thursday (12/22).
In those rally, hundreds of joint personnel declared ready to secure this year’s Christmas and New Year Eve. The operation will begin on 23rd December, 2022, to January 2nd, 2023.
Calvin says that all disturbances potential must be understood by all parties and those whom involved in Christmas and New Year Eve security operations, either in traffic situations, criminal actions, terrorism, liquor and drugs selling, to overcrowding in this holiday season.
“Let us realize a safe, comfortable, and peaceful Christmas and New Year Eve in our region. We truly appreciated TNI-Police, and also related stakeholders in carrying out their duties as best as they could. I also asked the Biak Numfor communities to celebrate Christmas solemnly and comply with the health protocols,” says Calvin Masnembra.
Meanwhile, the Head of Biak Numfor Police Chief, AKBP Adi Tri Widiyanto reveals that in Lilin Cartenz Operation, his party have prepared 150 personnel and three posts, which are integrated post in Imam Bonjol street, service post in Frans Kaisiepo Biak Airport, and security post in Biak port. He stated that those personnel are consisted of TNI-Police and other institutions.
Moreover, his party have coordinated with the local government and related stakeholder regarding steps in anticipating potential disturbances in the area, such as disaster and surge cases in Covid-19. “Everyone is ready to ensure a safe and peaceful Christmas,” he says in his conclusion.
