inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. The Jambi Regional Police handed over 24.8 tons of liquid oxygen from the Tanoto Foundation to the Jambi Provincial Government at the Jambi Governor's Office House. Saturday (08/07/21).
The handover of the assistance was given directly by the Jambi Regional Police Chief Pol. Inspector General A Rachmad Wibowo was accompanied by the Provincial Coordinator of the Tanoto Foundation, Medi Yusva and was received directly by the Governor of Jambi Al Haris.
Jambi Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General A Rachmad Wibowo said conditions in Jambi are currently safe for oxygen. However, it may not be possible to achieve this safe condition if there is no assistance from various parties such as the Tanoto Foundation.
"It's been more than 3 weeks, we've been working extra extra, extra tired we added oxygen from a shortage condition, and here we have an oxygen task force. Led by the Director of Traffic, Director of Intelligence and Director of Crime and Investigation Agency, he will calculate the allocation of Oxygen at the hospital," Jambi Regional Police Chief said
The Jambi Regional Police Chief said that although the current Oxygen condition is safe, in Jambi there are four colors of the Oxygen Group. The first is green, which means that the oxygen resistance in the hospital can last more than five days, the yellow color means that the oxygen resistance can reach three days, and the orange color has food security for more than two days, and the red color has only one day of oxygen resistance.
"Thank God, Jambi is currently orange in color for the past few days, so there is oxygen resistance for two days," explained Pol. General Inspector A Rachmad Wibowo.
Currently, in Jambi alone there are 6 filling stations, while none of the liquid comes from Jambi, all of them come from outside Jambi Province because there are no liquid factories in Jambi Province.
"We depend on our liquid fate from Dumai, while Dumaipin now does not supply Jambi anymore, the supply is for Riau and West Sumatra. Then from South Sumatra it turns out that even then it is not for Jambi anymore, for Lampung and Java. So the liquid supply in Jambi is from liquid in Tangerang," explained Pol. General Inspector A Rachmad Wibowo.
The Jambi Regional Police Chief hopes that the delivery of liquid to Jambi is safe and smooth because the delivery is closely guarded by the police so that it arrives on time to Jambi.
"So that this liquid journey runs smoothly to Jambi," said the Regional Police Chief.
The two-star general added that the Jambi Regional Police continue to consistently maintain oxygen needs in Jambi, starting from the Oxygen company in Banten to the Covid-19 referral hospital in Jambi Province.
