Tribratnews.polri.go.id – Jambi. Thanks to the support from APP Sinarmas through its company, Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Industry (LPPPI) Ltd., Jambi Regional Police distributed liquid oxygen to hospitals in Jambi.
Jambi Regional Police and LPPPI are in synergy, distributing 150 oxygen tanks per day to anticipate rising oxygen needs in Jambi province. From July to August 2021, 652 oxygen tanks have been distributed.
To ease the distribution process, Jambi Regional Police, through the Traffic Directorate, secure the LPPPI's liquid oxygen to get to the destination quickly.
Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, said that the free oxygen distribution is the form of commitment from Jambi Regional Police to find the solution for hardships faced by people on oxygen scarcity in recent times.
"I deeply appreciate the liquid oxygen aid from the Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Industry Ltd. We are in synergy to ease people in accessing oxygen", Chief of Jambi Regional Police said.
Chief of Jambi Regional Police hopes that other companies could participate in the Covid-19 pandemic handling, such as keeping oxygen availability in Jambi province.
Meanwhile, Chief of Oxygen Guard Task Force of Jambi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sigit Dany Setiyono, said this event is coordinated between Jambi Regional Police and companies in integrated Covid-19 handling. "We conducted cross-stakeholders coordination and, Thanks to God, thank the companies and parties who smoothen this humanitarian event", Chief of Oxygen Guard Task Force of Jambi Regional Police said.
Chief of Oxygen Guard Task Force of Jambi Regional Police explained that distribution-wise, Jambi Regional Police would tightly observe the oxygen supply by deploying Traffic Corps of Jambi Regional Police to ensure safe and smooth oxygen distribution to hospitals in need.
"We will keep coordinating on determining how much oxygen is needed so the aid from LPPPI Ltd could be smooth without any problems", Chief of Oxygen Guard Task Force of Jambi Regional Police said.
Besides that, the Chief of Oxygen Guard Task Force of Jambi Regional Police also appeals to the public to implement Health Protocols. He also encourages people to hand-in-hand suppress Covid-19 transmission by obeying Health Protocols and maintain body immunity.
"Let's enforce the obedience towards Health Protocols. Don't forget to maintain our health to avoid Covid-19 transmission", Chief of Oxygen Guard Task Force of Jambi Regional Police said.
