Jambi Regional Police Distributed 100 Tons of Rice to Communities Affected by Covid-19

Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Police Inspector General A Rachmad Wibowo directly led the release of the distribution of 100 tons of rice to be given to the people of Jambi Province who were affected by Covid-19 at the Black Field of the Jambi Regional Police Headquarter, Friday (06/08/21).

The event was also attended by Governor of Jambi DR H Al Haris, Commander of 042 Gapu Military Resort Command, Brigadier General Zulkifli, Chairperson of Jambi Provincial Regional House of Representative, High Prosecutor, Mayor of Jambi Syarif Fasha, Deputy Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Yudawan and High Rank Officers of Jambo Regional Police.

In his remarks, Chief of Jambi Regional Police said Jambi Regional Police had received donations of 100 tons of rice from two national companies, Liman Group and Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek), companies engaged in Technology and Property.

"We thank to the two companies who have eased the burden Jambi Province’s people affected by Covid-19," the two-star General explained.

The former Director of Cyber Crimes of Crime Investigation Agency of Indonesia National Police said they will distribute 100 tons of rice with 042 Gapu Military Region Command; to the Head of Resort Police and the ranks who receive this assistance to distribute the rice as soon as possible together with related steakholders, such Indonesia National Armed Forces, Regional Disaster Management Agency, Municipality Police and Sub District or Village.

"Do this noble task, carry out the task sincerely and take care not to damage this aid until it reaches those who are entitled to receive it," Police Inspector General A Rachmad Wibowo said.

Meanwhile, Jambi Governor DR H Al Haris said this assistance was given to people who were affected by Covid-19 or to those whose conditions were difficult.

"We hope there are more entrepreneurs who want to distribute assistance through government or police to people affected by Covid-19," Al Haris said.

Furthermore, Governor of Jambi Al Haris together with Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Chairperson of Jambi Provincial Regional House of Representative, Commander of 042 Gapu Military Resort Command, Brigadier General Zulkifli, Head of High Prosecutor of Jambi and Mayor of Jambi immediately released the distribution of 100 tons of rice which would be dispatched to each district in Jambi Province.
