The earthquake disaster that occurred in Cianjur, West Java, left deep wounds and moved the hearts of all Indonesian people, including the Jambi Regional Police.
Jambi Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, when confirmed, says “We from the Jambi Regional Police are saddened for what happened in Cianjur, West Java, but it was all God's will and we can only accept what God has ordained because it has become His Stipulation,” he said.
The Jambi Regional Police also made donations for the victims of the Cianjur earthquake, such as medicine, clothing, food, and bedding, which were distributed to Cianjur Regency.
"We ask the personnel to give some of their wealth to donate to those who really need it. It is hoped that this collection of aid funds can slightly ease the burden on the people who have been hit by the disaster in Cianjur," said the Police Chief quoted from Tvonenews.com.
"Hopefully what we give can be beneficial to those who are being hit by a disaster," concluded the Two Star General.
