The perpetrator of the molestation of minors, with the initials AS (32) is suspected of molesting six of his students because of watching pornographic content several times, thereby venting his lust for his students ranging from 11 to 19 years.
This was confirmed by the Head of Subang Police (Kapolres Subang) AKBP Sumarni., S.IK., SH., MH., accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of Subang Police AKP Muhammad Zulkarnaen, the Head of Child Protection, and Department Of Population Control, Family Planning, Women Empowerment And Child Protection (DP2KBP3A) Subang Regency, Upit Nurhayati at the Subang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Office, Monday (14/2/2022).
Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police (Kabid Humas Polda Jabar) Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Sc., conveyed his appreciation to Polres Subang because they were able to act swiftly and quickly in arresting the perpetrators.
Kapolres Subang explained that the unemployed man, who was still single, is from the District of Patokbeusi, Subang Regency. He had been questioned and detained by the PPA Unit of Satreskrim Subang.
According to the information, the sexual abuse of the six minors was due to him having watched pornographic content several times. The actions were repeatedly carried out against the victim in Rancamulya Village, Patokbeusi District, Subang Regency, from January 2022 to February 9, 2022.
Polres Subang has coordinated with the Subang Regency DP2KBP3A and the Subang Regency Social Service. In addition, there will be a post-mortem et repertum, and a psychiatric post-mortem as well as trauma healing for the victims.
The perpetrators of the crime (USA) were charged with Article 82 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 on Child Protection with a minimum penalty of five years and a maximum of 15 years in prison, and a fine of a maximum of IDR 5 billion. The suspect was also charged with Article 64 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code because the suspect's actions were repeated against the victim. The suspect has been detained at the Subang Police Headquarters, West Java Police for further legal proceedings.
