West Java Police Chief (Kapolda Jabar) Inspector General (Irjen) Suntana visits the construction site of Mako Brimob Batallion D which was located in Maribaya Village, Ancol Village, Cineam District, Tasikmalaya Regency, Wednesday (16/2/22).
The Kapolda appealed for prayers and support from the community, hoping that the Mako Brimob Battalion D could be completed on schedule so that they could immediately serve the people in the East Priangan Region.
"The presence of Brimob is very important in maintaining the security and order here," he explained.
Irjen Suntana also added that Brimob troops with their special expertise could be used to ensure public safety, assist the Resort Police (Polres), be deployed in the event of a natural disaster, and all things related to humanity. "Hopefully by 2023, Brimob return to here again, so if there is anything, we can respond quickly," explained the Kapolda.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Tasikmalaya, H. Ade Sugianto, stated that the Tasikmalaya Regency Government provided land acquisition of 15.8 hectares in installments over 3 budget years. This year, the government has already given ten hectares.
"The local government of Tasikmalaya Regency is very supportive in the construction of the Mobile Brigade Command Battalion D for the benefit of the community, and it is hoped that the presence of Brimob here can provide a sense of security, especially for the people of Tasikmalaya and people in East Priangan," explained the Regent of Tasikmalaya.
