Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono, along with the President Director of Jasa Raharja, Rivan Purwantoro, visited the Vaccine Centre of Bhayangkara Hospital of Riau Regional Police. They were accompanied by Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi and Director of Traffic Corps, Police Grand Commissioner Firman Darmansyah.
Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps with the President Director of Jasa Raharja inspected the vaccination event at the Vaccine Centre. There are 800 vaccines that would be injected today, including 14 people with disabilities, 70 online motor-taxi drivers, and nine truck drivers who are also being given social aid by the Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps with the President Director of Jasa Raharja.
Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps stated that Riau Regional Police has been amazingly great because they transformed the old Riau Regional Police building into a Vaccine Centre building that answered recent necessities.
"Riau Regional Police is extraordinary. By the transformation of the old building of Riau Regional Police, this is an extraordinary breakthrough", Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps said.
Furthermore, the Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps reminded them that the achievement of this Vaccine Centre is exceptional. There is also a vaccination programme for people with disabilities, online motor-taxi drivers, and truck drivers.
"I saw the flow is extraordinary. I am also a vaccinated person with disabilities due to a traffic accident. I hope that Level 4 PPKM (Community Activity Restriction Enforcement) in Riau to be downgraded to Level 2 in the following weeks", he continued.
Besides, the Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps also said that adhering to Health Protocols is an obligation for all people if they want to get out of this pandemic.
"We often underestimate face mask use, but it is the fortress that limits the entry or exit of viruses from our bodies. Therefore, never underestimate the proper usage of face mask", he said.
Meanwhile, President Director of Jasa Raharja said that his company and Chief Coordinator of Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police inspected vaccination events across the country, including in Riau. According to him, vaccination is essential in order to achieve herd immunity.
"Our greatest appreciation to the Chief of Riau Regional Police for building Vaccine Center with adequate facilities and extraordinary service with great flow from the beginning until the handover of vaccine certificate. I hope this Vaccine Centre could be the best effort for us all to achieve herd immunity soon", he said.
After visiting Vaccine Centre, accompanied by Chief of Riau Regional Police and Director of Traffic Corps, they visited PPKM insulation implementation at the intersection of Sudirman street and Tuanku Tambusai street.
