Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Madiun. Commander of Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and Chief of Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, visited PPKM Mikro (Micro-scaled Public Activity Limitation Enforcement) at Bantengan village, Wungu district, Madiun, East Java, on Friday (18/6/2021).
Chief of Police said that Madiun regency experienced a significant rise in new Covid-19 cases triggered by a wedding party at Bantengan village.
Therefore, the Chief of Police asked police personnel to record every steps and measure during PPKM Mikro correctly.
During PPKM Mikro, Chief of Police emphasises the controlled public mobility such as school, operational hours of local economic centres such as public market, traditional market, shops, modern shopping centre, and tourist attractions.
"There should be a daily activity written on the board so everyone can know every day's progress", the Chief of Police said during his statement.
Former Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police also said that he would reward personnel of the Community Police Unit who have optimally handled the Covid-19 pandemic with a ticket to Officer School.
"We will give a chance for the Community Police officers to do better. The best one would be offered Officer School enlist, in which East Java Regional Police would decide the scoring", Sigit concluded.
