Accompanied by the Riau Police Chief, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, and Head of Traffic Management, Pol. Grand Commissioner Firman Darmansyah, Director of Traffic Corps received an explanation from Deputy Head of Traffic Management Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Donni Eka Syaputra, regarding the blocking activities carried out by the Riau Police including the Directorate of Traffic with stakeholders in the context of implementing PPKM level 4 in Pekanbaru and several districts.
The National Police Headquarters said that the isolation carried out by the officers, including in their ranks, was to reduce the number of COVID-19.
"This isolation is part of the policy to enforce the tightening of community activities (PPKM) which aims to reduce the spread of COVID-19," said the Head of Trafficking Units.
On that occasion, the Director of Traffic Corps together with the President Director of Jasa Raharja distributed social assistance assistance to road users, online motorcycle taxis and cleaners in front of the Insulation Post under the Sudirman flyover.
