Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Banten Water and Air Police Directorate had helped a car that got thrown into the sea at Merak Port on Friday (12/23), at around 22:00 local time.
The personnel who had lend his hand to help the vitim is Brigadier Atur, Brigadier Hasanudin, Brigadier Abdul Waris,, and Brigadier Eris. They help the victim with the assist of National Search and Rescue Agency.
When confirmed, Brigadier Hasanudin confirmed the incident and said that they helped the victim that fell to the sea. “It is true, we and the team from the Search and Rescue Agency have rescued a car that fell to the sea at Merak Port Dock 2,” says Hasanudin.
He says that they initially got a report that a car had fell to the sea. “At first we got a report from security post, telling there was a car that fell to the sea. We immediately moved and lend our hands to the victim,” says Hasanudin. “We were having difficulties due to weather and waves that were going strong. At that time, the car was still at the surface and did not sunked yet,” says Hasanudin.
Officials says that the victim was rushed to the Krakatau Medika Cilegon Hospital. “After we rescued them, we then moved them to the hospital to receive further medical treatment,” conclude Hasanudin.
