In addition, the police are investigating the party suspected of hacking the official National Disaster Management Agency YouTube account.
"It has been communicated and investigated by the Directorate of Cyber and Indonesian National Police-Criminal Investigation Agency," explained the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Friday (10/12/21).
Previously, the Head of Public Relations Division of the National Disaster Management Agency, Rita Rosita, confirmed the alleged hacking incident. Rita said that her party is currently working to restore the account.
"Yeah, there's a bit of a problem. Right now, our staff is trying to fix it,” said Rosita.
The account name has been restored, but the agency logo has not yet been recovered. Previously, this National Disaster Management Agency YouTube account changed its name to Ethereum 2.0. Additionally, the logo of the institution was changed.
