Helping Students Overseas, Traffic Corps of National Police Together with Executive Board of Islamic Student Association Provides Assistance with 1,000 Food Packages

Helping students who wander in the Ciputat area, the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of National Police cooperates with the Executive Board of Islamic Student Association (PB HMI) to distribute assistance in the form of 1,000 food packages for overseas students in Community Activity Restrictions Level 4 area, precisely on Pesanggrahan Street, Cempaka Putih Tinur, District Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten.

The Traffic Corps Chief (Kakorlantas) of National Police, Pol. Inspector General Istiono, said that the National Police together with the brothers from Indonesian Islamic Student Assocation, Rayhan together did social services, visiting younger brothers who were overseas students in the Ciputat area, Monday (08/09/21).

The two-star general explained that overseas students really need help because they are far from their parents. The National Police Headquarter hopes that this assistance can help students and focus more on completing their education.

"Today, we are distributing 1000 food packages to our overseas students who live in the Ciputat area, including the people here. With this togetherness, this social service may be useful for overseas students and the people here," explained the Police Headquarter.

The National Police Headquarter also gave appreciation to the local Neighbourhood for intensively collecting data on the community to carry out vaccines. Istiono hopes that this achievement can help residents stay healthy through this pandemic.

"Earlier I asked Head of Neighbourhood for 80 percent of the vaccinations here, meaning that public health will be stronger in the future," explained the National Police Headquarter.
