Head of Traffic Security of Indonesia National Police: Smart City Solo Will Connect 4 Modes of Transportation

inp.polri.go.id. – Semarang. Head of Traffic Security of Indonesia National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono, reviewed the readiness of Smart City in Solo, Central Java. Four modes of transportation will be connected in information technology (IT)-based services.
 
“This Smart City, there are several applications in it related to public service services. We cover everything there. It also connects the four modes of transportation," the Head of Traffic Security of Indonesia National Police said at the TMC Surakarta City Resort Police, Central Java, Wednesday (06/16/2021).
 
He said the application would serve problems such as public security and order (Kamtibmas). According to him, the service will also be integrated with local government services (Pemda).
 
“This includes the issue of security and order, as well as service models in local government. We will connect everything in this TMC, we will serve it together," he said.
 
He aid that currently his party is still designing Smart City SOP in Solo. Once completed, the Smart City in Solo will be launched soon.
 
"We will also design the SOP later, how is the imulation, will we launch it later. I hope, in the near future, the details of the Smart City SOP in Solo will be realized soon," he added.
 
In addition, he also mentioned the Covid-19 situation in Solo. He said even though Solo is not in the red zone, anticipatory steps still need to be taken.
 
“Solo is not in the red zone. However, we have to maintain it because on the Solo border there is Sukoharjo, which is a red zone, "the Head of Traffic Security of Indonesia National Police said.
 
He explained, his team will increase check points in Solo border area, so Solo will remain in yellow zone. 
 
“We have to build check points at the border, to remind and take precautions. So Solo remain in yellow zone. We hope we can build check points in all red zones throughout Indonesia,” the Head of Traffic Security of Indonesia National Police concluded.
