Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Papua. Head of Police Security Intelligence Division of Indonesia National Police, Police Commissioner-General Paulus Waterpauw, together with senior Papuan Ambassador Freddy Numberi who is also the General Chair of the Papua Forsemi (Senior Millennial Forum) were the speakers at Grand Opening Study Syawal Motivation Training (SSMT) with the theme "Building human resources based on Pancasila for the progress and welfare of Papuan people”.

The activity was held at the Nuu Waar Islamic Boarding School – Al Fatih Kaaffah Nusantara (AFKN) Bekasi, Saturday (12/06) and attended by 200 students and other senior Papuan figures.

Ustadz Muhammad Zaaf Fadlan Rabbani Al-Garamatan, the leader of the NUU WAAR Islamic Boarding School (AFKN), appreciated the presence of the Head of Police Security Intelligence Division of Indonesia National Police and other Papuan figures.

"The struggle of the speakers who are present for the Nation and State is extraordinary, I hope the light of success will shine on the students of Ponpes Nuu Waar, so let's listen to the advice that is conveyed," he said.

Ambassador Freddy Numberi, admitted this was his first experience as a speaker at an Islamic boarding school after speaking abroad.

It is said the great founders of the nation wrapped this country with Pancasila so that they could unite all citizens despite all differences in ethnicity, language and religion.

"We must be solid under the Pancasila ideology, among ethnic groups in this archipelago to advance the Indonesian nation. Remember President Soekarno's message, we may have differences but we must remain united. Keep the spirit in learning and keeping Pancasila because without the foundation of Pancasila we are like on a ship tossed in the ocean," Numberi said.

Meanwhile, Police Commissioner-General Paulus Waterpauw, said children are the hope of parents, coming here leaving their hometown to study because there is hope for success. Therefore, do not waste the hopes of parents, listen to the advice of teachers and seniors because children who listen to their parents, teachers are loved by Lord Almighty.

“The reason children are here is that Indonesia is safe and peaceful. Let's look at the Middle East, which is experiencing chaos and war. Disasters and conflicts make us unable to live in safety and peace. Therefore we must be grateful and worship Lord. We see the Syrian state being destroyed because of groups who want to dominate the country by clashing conflicts between tribes, groups and religions," Head of Police Security Intelligence Division of Indonesia National Police explained.

He then cited the philosophy of inter-religious life in Fakfak, one stove three stones. This philosophy remains relevant throughout life in the midst of the development of technology, where small things are often exaggerated and eventually become big conflicts.

Head of Police Security Intelligence Division of Indonesia National Police mentioned radical attitudes often arise due to doctrinal errors.

"The meaning of Pancasila is profound because it is the foundation in the life of the nation and state as well as a way of life, life’s guideline, source of law and the ideals of the Nation. The Police are tasked to build cooperation with religious organizations, encouraging religious activities, warding off issues of radicalism," Police Commissioner-General Paul Waterpauw explained.
