Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police urges cyclists not to cross the 3 odd-even zones in Jakarta on weekends

"Once again, I emphasize that Sudirman-Thamrin and Rasuna Said are odd-even and also for friends who like bicycles, they are still not allowed to pass through the main route during Community Activity Restriction Enforcement Level 3," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Greater Jakarta Metro. The appeal is in order to minimize the form of crowds that occur when cyclists pass or just rest.

The reason is, these cyclists are usually busy driving on weekends or during holidays.

Previously, Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic has reduced roads that apply the odd-even system during the Community Activity Restriction Enforcement Level 3. Of the eight roads, currently only three roads, namely Sudirman street, Thamrin street, and Rasuna Said street.


The implementation of the odd-even system is valid from 06.00 AM to 08.00 PM.


"For the next week, starting from August 26 to August 30, we will apply it to 3 areas," explained Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic.
