Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police: Two Passengers, Trainers and Students Survived the R 44 Helicopter Crash in Buperta

Tribratanews.polri.go.id-Jakarta. The incident of the fall of Tobindon R44 civilian training helicopter belonging to PT. Genesa Dirgantara, which was manned by two passengers, fell into Lake Buperta, Cibubur managed to survive.
 
Even though the helicopter that was being piloted had spun around because of a problem before it finally plunged into the lake in Cibubur Camping Area, Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, Friday (05/28/2021)
 
"Two passengers, both coaches and students, managed to survive, after turning around and there was trouble in the swamp," said Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus.
 
It is known from the testimony of a witness named Alex that before falling in the swamp, the helicopter had experienced problems with engine and had circled around the location.
 
"The helicopter turned three times and fell in the swamp," he explained.
 
Currently, officers from Indonesian National Police and representatives from the helicopter owners are still at the scene. The helicopter wreck was being evacuated from the swamp.
 
"Now the officers and companies from training aircraft are still at the scene of crime. We are still trying to evacuate the helicopter carcass," explained Head of PR.
