Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Fadil Imran, hopes that all Jakartans are vaccinated by August 2021. He said the statement during a mass vaccination inspection in South Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police last Saturday.

"Regional Leaders Communication Forum of Jakarta want all Jakartans to be vaccinated by this August", Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said, as released by the official website of Indonesian National Police Great Headquarter on Sunday (25/7/2021).

Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police explained that Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, together with Armed Forces and Jakarta Provincial Government, keep accelerating the vaccination process to achieve herd immunity in the community.

"I hope our efforts and wishes could be materialised so herd immunity in Jakarta Special Region province could be achieved, along with its buffer regions under the jurisdiction of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police", Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said.

Meanwhile, one of the vaccination participants in the South Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, Putri, said that the August vaccination target could be achieved if people are obedient and willing to get vaccinated.

"August should be a realistic target if everyone wants to be vaccinated. But sometimes some of them do not want to follow the government's instructions", Putri said after receiving the first dose.
