Greater Jakarta Metropolitan regional Police Spreads Independent Vaccination Points to Accelerate Handling of Covid-19 in 900 Hamlets

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police launched the Merdeka Vaccination program to accelerate COVID-19 vaccination for the people of the metropolitan regional. Vaccination points are spread across 900 Neighbourhoods in Jakarta Metropolitan regional.


"We hope that together with the Governor of Jakarta Metropolitan, the number of vaccinations will reach 100 percent," explained the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Muhammad Fadil Imran.


Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief said that the Free Vaccination program came from the community for the community. The volunteers involved are students, health workers, and community organizations (ormas).

"We chose Neighbourhoods with a large population but lack of Neighbourhoods vaccines, in West Jakarta there are 209 Neighbourhoods, meaning that there are 209 points where we carry out vaccines," explained the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police.


The two-star general said that the Merdeka Vaccination will take place from August 1-17, 2021. The second stage of vaccination will begin on September 28, 2021.


Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief hopes that on the 76th Day of the Republic of Indonesia, all Jakarta residents will have been vaccinated. In addition, he asked the public to be involved in inviting their closest or family members to be vaccinated.
