As is known, the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police is intensifying the Covid-19 vaccination for residents through the Merdeka Vaccination program, from August 1 to 17, 2021.
"I explained that the vaccine stock is, thank God (safe)," explained the Head of the Doctors and Health Division (Head of Doctors of Health) Pol. Grand Commissioner Didiet Setioboedi, at Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police.
The Head of Doctors and Health Division revealed that since receiving the vaccine from the Indonesian Ministry of Health to be given to residents, his party has managed it well so that the implementation of vaccination could run smoothly.
On the other hand, his party also cooperates with the National Armed Forces and the local government (Pemda) of Jakarta to help provide the vaccine if there is a shortage. Therefore, he ensures that every outlet in the Merdeka Vaccination program has sufficient vaccines to be given to the public.
"So at the outlet there must be a vaccine and its workforce. We complement each other (between the regional government and the National Armed Forces) so there must be a vaccine," he said.
As is known, the Independent Vaccination Program was launched by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, which will be held on 1-17 August 2021 in order to welcome the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
It is hoped that the program can be maximized with the presence of vaccine outlets that are set up close to people's homes in Jakarta. In total there are 667 vaccine outlets that were formed by involving various elements of society ranging from Neighbourhoods, students, health workers, to the private sector.
