Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police deploys 632 Crowd Free Night Control Personnel in Jakarta

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police issued a Crowd Free Night (CFN) policy in four areas in Jakarta every weekend and holiday. A total of 632 personnel were deployed to implement these rules.

Director of Traffic Management Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said the personnel will secure four areas that implement the Crowd Free Night system, namely Sudirman-Thamrin, Kemang, SCBD, and Asia-Africa.

In total there is 632 personnel that we deploy every holiday night and weekend night. So, previously, personnel were installed at odd-even points, we transferred them to guard the four crowd-free night areas, said the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic Security, Monday (09/06/2021).

In the implementation of CFN, several vehicles are allowed to pass, namely ambulances, hotel guests, and people who live around the CFN location.

"All whom we let to pass are emergency (vehicles), hotel guests, and people who live or are residents in the area," said the Directorate of Traffic Security of the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police.

Later, officers will be on guard at the entrances to the four crowd-free night implementation areas. Meanwhile, for the surrounding community or those who have business around the road, they could show evidence to the officers on duty.

"So they could convey it to the officers on duty. If hotel guests are here, of course, they will be welcome," explained the Director of Traffic Security of the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police.
