Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Gorontalo. Gorontalo Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus together with a number of key officials from the Gorontalo Regional Police again reviewed the activities of the Gorontalo Community Vaccination Outlets in several places, Tuesday (08/16/21).
The location of the review is at Dungingi Terminal, Taruna Field, and in Tapa District.
The event was also attended by Operational Chief Bureau of Gorontalo Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner M. Pratama Adhyasastra, Police Chief of Gorontalo, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Suka Irawanto and Mayor of Gorontalo Marten Taha
Inspector General of Police. Akhmad Wiyagus monitored the vaccination process from the registration stage to the implementation of the vaccine injection. The vaccination this time is the mass vaccination stage one and stage two which are carried out at Dungingi Terminal, Taruna Field and Tapa District.
While monitoring the course of the activity, the Two-Star General took the time to talk with the residents who took part in the vaccination. The Regional Police Chief advised that even though they have been vaccinated, residents should remain disciplined about health protocols.
"Thank you for participating in the vaccination program that has been organised by the government, however, even though you have been vaccinated, you must pay attention to health protocols wherever you are in order to accelerate the handling of the spread of COVID-19 in the Gorontalo Region," said the Indonesian Military Academy graduate in 1989.
The former Deputy Chief of West Java Regional Police said that this vaccination activity was carried out according to the Precident's instructions to the Indonesian people.
So the National Police facilitated the program by setting up vaccine booths in crowded places to facilitate the vaccination, added the Pol. Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus.
In a different place, the Head of Public Relations of the Gorontalo Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Wahyu Tri Cahyono explained that, the arrival of the Regional Police Chief was nothing but to ensure that the vaccination program was carried out properly and smoothly in an effort to overcome the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as to check the implementation of health protocols at vaccination locations.
"We continue to synergise with the Regional Government, National Armed Forces, and other stakeholders to expand vaccination outcomes for residents in Gorontalo," concluded the Gorontalo Regional Police Chief.
