Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Gorontalo. Gorontalo Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Akhmad Wiyagus said that vaccination was an early prevention effort against the Covid-19 virus outbreak. Therefore, he invites the people of Gorontalo Province to be vaccinated by visiting points (outlets) that have been prepared by the local Government, National Armed Forces, and National Police.
"A vaccine is a form of our effort in preventing the Covid-19 virus," explained Pol. Inspector-General Akhmad Wiyagus, Thursday (09/16/21).
The Gorontalo Regional Police Chief conveyed this when reviewing mass vaccination activities at Tolangohula Field, Sukamakmur Village, Tolangohula District, Gorontalo Regency.
In this activity, 1,200 doses of vaccine were given to the community. After being vaccinated, the community also received food packages.
Before reviewing the vaccination at Tolangohula Field, the Two-Star General reviewed a similar activity at the Taman Menara Food stage, Kayubulan Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency. In this place, as many as 1,200 doses of vaccine were prepared. People's enthusiasm for vaccination in this area is enthusiastic.
"We express our gratitude to the people who have become aware of being vaccinated. We hope that the people who have been vaccinated can educate their families and neighbors that vaccines are important," said the Indonesian Military Academy graduate in 1989.
Other vaccination activities reviewed by the Regional Police Chief were at Public Secondary School (SMP) Negeri 2 Bongo, Batudaa Pantai District, and Bilato Health Center, Lamahu Village, Bilato District, Gorontalo Regency.
In this review, the Regional also conveyed his message to the public not to be easily provoked.
"Don't be provoked by several groups who incite to refuse vaccinations that have been held. Provocation through social media is a hoax," said the Gorontalo Regional Police Chief.
The Gorontalo Resort Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Ahmad Pardomun, said that his area was the most populous district in Gorontalo Province. Therefore, vaccination activities were intensively carried out.
About four vaccination activities were reviewed by the Gorontalo Regional Police Chief. At each point, a minimum of 1,200 doses of vaccine is prepared.
"In a day there are four points of mass vaccination activity in Gorontalo Regency. The distance from one point to another is very far, up and down the mountain with difficult road conditions. Plus heavy rain," concluded Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Ahmad Pardomun.
