Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police will hold a festival or mural art competition for the 2021 National Police Chief Cup, held on October 30, 2021, at Bhayangkara Field. The event carried the theme 'The Role of the Young Generation to Be Creative in Conveying Positive Information in the Time of the Covid-19 Pandemic'.
Meanwhile, registration for the competition to win the National Police Chief's Cup has been opened from September 27 to October 17 at the Regional police level and October 20, 2021, at the National Police Headquarters.
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) will, for the first time, hold a Mural Festival/Contest entitled Bhayangkara Mural Festival of the 2021 National Police Chief, said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono to reporters, Jakarta, Monday (10/18).
Argo explained that the purpose and objective of this activity which is open to the general public, are to serve as a forum for the wider community to work and be creative during the pandemic. In addition, this activity is expected to inflame the spirit of independence, nationalism, and optimism during the pandemic by carrying out positive activities.
"To become a forum for freedom of expression and to channel ideas through works of art (murals) and aspirations from the community in dealing with community problems in various sectors. It is an appreciation event for mural artists in Indonesia to keep working during the pandemic," said Argo.
Regarding the Bhayangkara mural for the 2021 National Police Chief trophy festival, said Argo, the first curation stage would be held on October 18-20, 2021, to select the five best participants in each Regional Police. Then one selected participant will participate at the national level or the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.
Meanwhile, participants who were not selected at the Regional Police level will be included in the Mural Festival at their respective Regional Police. In addition, the first stage of curation will also be held on October 22-23, 2021, to select the best participants around the National Police Headquarters or Jabodetabek Regional.
However, participants who are not selected still can participate in the Regional Police Mural Festival according to their domicile. Furthermore, as many as 70 selected participants representing each province and Jabodetabek will draw simultaneously at the national level on October 30, 2021, which will be officially opened by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
The sub-themes that serve as a guide for participants to care for others during the Covid-19 pandemic, together with carrying out health protocols, Indonesia is healthy and robust, free from Covid-19, and safeguarding Indonesia.
According to Argo, for people who will register as participants, they must meet several requirements, namely to have a work that matches the sub-theme, submit a mural concept in PDF format and be published in one maximum size of 2500 pixels, the media ratio is 2.44mx 3.66m, the work must be original and unpublished.
For group registrants, including the chairman and members' names, submit before the deadline specified on the website www.tribratanews.polri.go.id. The competition winner will receive a cash prize of IDR 30 million for the 1st place winner, IDR 15 million for the 2nd place winner, IDR 10 million for the 3rd place winner and IDR 5 million each for the seven favourite participants.
