Tribratanwes.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The quick response from West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police on the lost South Korean kid is appreciated by South Korea.
Chief of West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Ady Wibowo, stated that Police received Police Attaché from the South Korean Embassy who gave award certificate from the embassy for finding the South Korean kid.
Chief of Departmental Police said that is a form of Police service to the public, not only domestic but also foreigners. They also have the right to be served by Indonesian National Police.
“We did not judge anyone in providing the best service to the public. Everyone has a right to receive service from us”, the Chief of Departmental Police said.
During the same occasion, South Korean Police Attaché, Mr Byun Changbum, said, “I, as the representative of South Korean Embassy, appreciated the quick response in receiving the missing foreigner kid from South Korea named Kim Ha Na.
“Even though we did not make the report from the sayings, the response from the West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police is incredible, so they managed to find the missing kid”, he said.
According to him, this is an extraordinary thing and deserves to be appreciated. He received the report a long time ago, around six months ago, from the family, but we did not managed to find the kid. He then talked to West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police.
“The kid then discovered by Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, in this context, Subdirectorate of Crime with Violence. This is extraordinary”, the Police Attaché of the South Korean Embassy said.
“Therefore, we from the Police Attaché of South Korean Embassy appreciated the quick response from West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, in this context Police Grand Commissioner Ady Wibowo, Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, Police Commissioner Joko Dwi Harsono, and personnel of Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police. We appreciate the effort, and we came here to bring you the award certificate from the South Korean Ambassador, Mr Park Tae Sung”, he said.
As information, the South Korean Embassy gave the award to the personnel of the Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, such as Chief of General Criminal Unit, Chief of Crime with Violence Sub-unit, and 13 personnel of Crime with Violence Unit of West Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police.
