Tribratanews.polri.go.id. - Kupang. Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police, Police Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pramonom appreciated implementing the floating vaccination held by the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police. Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police assessed that the breakthrough service could be an example for other regional police in Indonesia.

"This can be imitated by other archipelagic regional police so that they can meet the vaccine needs of fishing communities in the islands," explained the Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

The Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police was present to review vaccinations in coastal areas using floating ships in Labuan Bajo. The Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police considers that direct monitoring in Labuan Bajo shows that people are eager to get vaccinated. This, of course, must be balanced with the availability of vaccine stocks.

"Therefore, we should coordinate with the government so that there is no vaccine shortage, and if we have received the vaccine, the vaccine should be used immediately," explained the Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police.

"People who have been vaccinated must continue to comply with health protocols by implementing 5M," said the Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police.

According to the Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police, the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination must continue to be intensified for herd immunity. This step also supports the rise of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara Province, especially Labuan Bajo, which is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The implementation of floating vaccinations should continue and be carried out in all areas of East Nusa Tenggara so that coastal communities can quickly get vaccination services," concluded the Chief Deputy of the Indonesian National Police.
