Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. National Police Chief General of Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, conveyed his remarks on the 76th Anniversary of the National Armed Forces. The National Police Chief said that the National Armed Forces and National Police synergy is absolute as a source of strength to face challenges.
"I am Police General Listyo Sigit Probowo, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police and the extended family of the National Police, wished the Indonesian National Armed Forces the 76th Anniversary. Hopefully, the National Armed Forces will be more professional, disciplined, militant and humble and can always guard the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia towards an Advanced Indonesia. United, fight, we will win for Indonesia to be strong, Indonesia to grow," said the National Police Chief in his statement, Tuesday (10/05/21).
"Solidarity and synergy between the National Armed Forces and National Police are necessary as a source of strategic strength in order to face the challenges of an increasingly complex future task," he continued.
One of the synergies and solidities, among others, is that the National Armed Forces and National Police are both the main pillars in dealing with the handling of the Corona pandemic. National Armed Forces and National Police intensively conduct testing to vaccination programs.
In the current Covid-19 pandemic situation, the National Armed Forces and National Police are one of the main pillars in various efforts to control Covid-19, starting with the enforcement of 3M health protocols (wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance), strengthening 3T (Tracing, Testing and Treatment) as well as accelerated vaccination, said the former head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, General Pol. Drs. Agus Andrianto.
The National Police Chief said that for 76 years, the National Armed Forces has always been at the forefront of protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from all forms of threats. He hopes that the National Armed Forces and National Police will continue to fight for a strong Indonesia.
"From various threats that come from within and outside the country with professionalism, loyalty and dedication, the National Armed Forces are always present in guarding and maintaining the defence of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, both on land, sea and air," said the National Police Chief.
At the momentum of the National Armed Forces anniversary, the National Police Chief, along with the ranks of the National Police Headquarter, also surprised the National Armed Forces Commander, Dr. (H.C.) Hadi Tjahjanto, National Police Chief General of National Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., gave a birthday cake to Marshal Hadi at his office, Merdeka Barat Subden, National Armed Forces Headquarter, Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta.
The National Armed Forces Commander expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the National Police Chief and the Bhayangkara Corps. The National Armed Forces Commander said that he always received the support of the National Police during his tenure as Commander.
"At the end of my service at the 76th Anniversary of the TNI, I would like to thank the police for the cooperation and synergy. During my four years as the National Armed Forces Commander, I have been fully supported by the National Police," said the National Armed Forces Commander.
