The Jambi Regional Police's Directorate of Drug Investigation, Pol. Grand Commissioner Thomas Panji Suspandaru, explained that the first crime scene was successful in arresting the two perpetrators, the first with the initials RH, secured in Mendalo Laut Village. And from the results of the development, the officers again managed to secure one other perpetrator, namely the initials AP, who was secured at the Simpang Sungai Duren, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency.
The Directorate of Drug Investigation at the Jambi Regional Police explained that the perpetrator with the initials RA circulated drugs using a motorcycle that resembled an official vehicle belonging to the Police. This aims to evade and trick officers into avoiding arrest.
“At this first crime scene, the Evidence (BB) contained one motorbike that resembled a police service motorbike. This is used by the perpetrators to expedite the delivery of drugs to the buyer, "explained the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Jambi Regional Police.
The Directorate of Drug Investigation at the Jambi Regional Police also explained that the officers also managed to secure evidence, namely 1 package containing methamphetamine, 1 digital scale, 1 unit of Revolver model assembled firearm, six rifle ammunition assemblies shot nail model, 2 HP units.
The second crime scene, namely in the Nipah Panjang sub-district, East Tanjung Jabung district, managed to secure the US. At the crime scene, the two police officers managed to secure evidence in the form of 1 small package containing methamphetamine, 1 android cellphone, IDR 1.2 million cash, 15 small packages containing methamphetamine, 1 unit digital scale, and 1 medium package containing methamphetamine.
And finally at the third Crime Scene, they managed to secure another perpetrator with the initials NO, in Pattimura, Jambi City, at this third Crime Scene, officers managed to secure 3 packages that were suspected of containing methamphetamine, 24 small packages, 1 unit of digital scales, one unit of cellphone. .
As a result of their actions, the perpetrators with the initials RH and AP were subject to Article 114 paragraph (1) and/or Article 112 paragraph (1) Jo 132 paragraph (1) of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics is threatened with a minimum of 5 years in prison. Meanwhile, the US and NO are subject to Article 114 paragraph (2) or Article 112 paragraph (2), which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
