Following up on Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police’s instructions on eradicating drug trafficking in South Sumatera region, Directorate of Drug Investigation of South Sumatera Regional Police managed to arrest 13 suspects of drug abuse with evidence of 1.6 Kilograms (Kg) of crystal methamphetamine and 458 ecstasy pills.
Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissionaer Supriadi accompanied by Director of Directorate of Drug Investigation of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Heri Istu Haryono said police would combat illicit drug trafficking.
"By continuing to fight illicit drug trafficking, we will ensure that we will continue to fight to save younger generation from these illicit goods," Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police explained, Monday (08/09/21).

"From perpetrators, our members secured 1.6 Kilograms (Kg) of crystal methamphetamine and 458 ecstasy pills," Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police explained.
For their actions, the perpetrators will be subject to Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Law (UU) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Number 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics with minimum prison sentence of 20 years in prison and a maximum of life.
