Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Semarang. Central Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, along with a number of Regional Police officials visited the Hok Tik Bio temple, Blora Regency, for a vaccination check-in safari. At the temple, which is also a tourist icon in Blora Regency, the Regional Police Chief stated that he was ready to increase the stock of vaccines considering that the enthusiasm of the community to participate in vaccinations in places of worship was quite high.

"We have prepared 320 thousand doses of vaccine for Islamic boarding school students, church congregations, temples and temple visitors. However, seeing the encouraging public interest, I am ready to increase the stock of vaccines," explained the Regional Police Chief

The Regional Police Chief stated that starting Monday (09/06/21) yesterday, the Central Java Regional Police and related agencies focused on vaccination at 32 points. "Our vaccination activities are held in 15 Islamic boarding schools, 5 churches, 5 monasteries and 5 temples throughout Central Java," he added.

Regional Police Chief also added that herd immunity must be created in Central Java. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools and places of worship as places for people to carry out spiritual activities are also the main targets for vaccination locations.

Regarding the decrease in the transmission of COVID-19 in Central Java, the Regional Police Chief stated that this was one of the impacts of the implementation of Community Activity Restriction Enforcement. Not only that, joint patrols in the context of prokes enforcement, judicial operations and public awareness to carry out many activities at home, have also discouraged criminals from carrying out crimes.

“Since the implementation of Community Activity Restriction Enforcement, the trend of disturbances in Central Java's security and social order has tended to decline. Joint patrols, partitions and judicial operations also have an impact on making the Community Police Officer situation safer. This includes public awareness to reduce mobility and carry out activities at home," said the Regional Police Chief.

Although the trend of COVID-19 transmission continues to decline in Central Java, the Regional Police Chief emphasized his commitment that the Central Java Regional Police will not slack off in carrying out routine activities in order to enforce procedures, including judicial operations.

The above efforts are still being carried out so that the spread of Covid continues to decrease. The public should also not be complacent,” said the Regional Police Chief.
