Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Semarang. Directorate of Drug Investigation of Central Java Regional Police checked several of pharmacies. This is implemented as a way to ensure the price of the drug is in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET).
Head of Public Affairs of Central Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner M Iqbal Al-Qudusy said, based on the inspection result, his team did not find any fraud,
“Directorate of Drug Investigation of Central Java Regional Police has checked and monitored a couple of drugs at pharmacies and drug stores, and no fraud was found,” Head of Public Affairs of Central Java Regional Police said, Wednesday 7 July 2021.
Besides checking the prices according to HET, the Directorate of Drug Investigation of Central Java Regional Police also ensures to prevent any drug hoarding s that are often used to treat Covid-19 recently.
"We urge the public not to speculate about hoarding. Because if that happens, we will not hesitate to take firm action against the perpetrators," Head of Central Java Regional Police explained.
The Head of Public Affairs of Central Java Regional Police explained the monitoring result shows some drug stores and pharmacies even did not sell the types of drugs that were checked. Even the stock was empty.
“There are no stocks at several drug stores and pharmacies. Some of the drugs are not available and not sold,” the Head of Public Affairs of Central Java Regional Police said.
