The North Sumatra Regional Police, together with the ranks of the Resort Police, continue to stop the spread of Covid-19 and accelerate the formation of herd immunity by carrying out the Covid-19 vaccination. From the start of the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccine, the North Sumatra Regional Police and the Regional Police of the ranks, until Friday (10/08/2021), recorded a total cumulative dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as many as 1,210,078.
"We have distributed millions of doses of vaccine," explained the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi.
From all ranks, the Medan Resort Departemental Police mostly vaccinated the community. "Medan Police 106,492 doses, Serdang Bedagai Police 81,162 doses, then Deli Serdang Police 71,649 doses," he explained.
For the daily Covid-19 vaccine target, continued the Head of PR, the North Sumatra Regional Police, and the ranks have 33,000 doses. "The highest target per day is at the Medan Resort Departemental Police, as many as 2,400 doses," he added.
As for the achievement of the Covid-19 vaccine on Friday (8/10/2021), there were 11,494 doses. "The latest data on Friday was 11,494 doses. Humbahas Resort with 1,738 doses, Tanah Karo Police 1,663 doses and Mandailing Natal Police 1,435 doses," said Head of PR.
Meanwhile, the stock or remaining Covid-19 vaccine at the North Sumatra Regional Police and the Resort Police is aligned with 139,782 doses. "At most, the stock of the Medical and Health is 110,450 doses, then the Medan Polrestabes 8,401 doses and the Pematangsiantar Police 7,082 doses," said Head of PR.
For this reason, the Head of PR invites people who have not participated in the Covid-19 vaccine to register immediately so that the vaccine is injected immediately. "We continue to strive to carry out Covid vaccinations to accelerate herd immunity and reduce Community Activity Restriction Enforcement levels," he said
The Head of PR also asked people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 to continue to comply with the health protocol (Process) regulations, such as wearing masks, diligently washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility.
"Hopefully, the Covid-19 pandemic will pass quickly, and people can return to their usual activities," added Head of PR.
