"Information from the East Nusa Tenggara's Regional Police Department of Traffic, the ETLE camera installed is ready to use and capable of recording long-distanced images. Violations can be easily monitored through the ETLE Command Post," explained East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police's Head of PR, Police Grand Commissioner Rishian Krisna Budhiaswanto, Wednesday (05/19/21).
According to the East Nusa Tenggara's Regional Police Intermediate Officer, as many as 12 cameras were placed at four points: heavy traffic locations, namely at the governor's office intersection, the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police's intersection, Palapa Street intersection and Hero Shop intersection.
Police Grand Commissioner Rishian Krisna Budhiaswanto hopes that this electronic ticket will reduce the number of traffic violations. Because in fact, the primary purpose of implementing ETLE is to create a traffic order culture.
"With the ETLE installation, we hope to be more disciplined in traffic. So even without the presence of the police in the field, we will remain disciplined," said the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police's Head of PR.
