Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Balikpapan. As a form of care to people affected by Covid-19 in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan Regional Police held a social service event on Thursday (2/9/21).
Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Herry Rudolf Nahak, stated that the aid was distributed as a form of care to people in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of Level 4 PPKM (Community Activity Restriction Enforcement).
"Even though this is not much, we hope this aid could alleviate our brothers and sisters' burden because of the Covid-19", Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police said.
This social service event was also attended by Deputy Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Hariyanto; Regional Superintendent of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Jefrianus Endolemba Torunde; and the Primary Officials of East Kalimantan Regional Police, in the front of the Main Lobby of East Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarter.
Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, mentioned that the basic necessities packages given to the people in need are a form of East Kalimantan Regional Police's care to people in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.
On this occasion, the Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Kalimantan Regional Police advise all people to fight Covid-19 together. East Kalimantan Regional Police also encourages people to implement clean and healthy living to prevent Coronavirus transmission.
Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Herry Rudolf Nahak, departed ten trucks of basic necessities that would be delivered to the people later.
