East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Gives Compensation to Families of Members Who Fall and Exposed to Covid-19

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Balikpapan. As a concern for Alumni of Indonesian Military Academy '90, East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Herry Rudolf Nahak, gave affection to the extended family of members of the National Police who died due to Covid-19 at the Rupatama Room of the East Kalimantan Regional Police.

East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Pol. Herry Rudolf Nahak As the initiator of this social service activity, said that the death of dozens of members is part of one of the risks of serving in the police as the front line in tackling the pandemic even though the officers have implemented a reasonably strict health protocol.

"Today, we provide assistance and compensation to the families of East Kalimantan Regional Police members who have died in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic," explained the East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.

The Regional Police Chief also hopes that in the future, all people can carry out complete vaccinations and remain disciplined in implementing health protocols so that no more victims are infected with Covid-19.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo explained that the series of activities for 31 years of the 1990 Akabri service would continue, namely with mass vaccinations and the delivery of social assistance in the form of 90 tons of rice and necessities, which will be held at the Balikpapan Dome Building the next day.
