Governor of East Java, Commander of V/Brawijaya Military Command, Chief of East Java Regional Police, Chairperson of East Java Regional People's Representative Assembly, Chief of II Navy Fleet Command, East Java High Prosecutor, East Java Kalanti and Head of East Java Regional Intelligence Agency, monitored the implementation of the 2nd Dose of Vaccination to Prosecutor's Family and Surabaya City Residents at Islamic Center, Dukuh Kupang Street, Surabaya.
The 2nd Dose of Vaccination Activity for Prosecutor's Family and Surabaya City Residents, aims to support Government's program to establish Herd Immunity for residents of Surabaya and East Java in general. The vaccination stages start from Screening, Registration, Vaccination injection and Observation while still implementing health protocols.
Vaccination implementation at Islamic Center targeted vaccination for 2,000 residents of Surabaya City and its surroundings. The total number of vaccinators was 200 health workers from Surabaya City Health Agency.
East Java Governor, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, said this is all in one formation. All work for the one purpose of providing public health safety protection. The strong partnership format is important part and of course, Surabaya becomes the epicenter of interaction or mobility and economic growth of East Java. People were enthusiast for vaccination dose 1 and 2.
"It must be monitored and of course for Surabaya people who have not been vaccinated for the first dose, please continue to follow, where the vaccination process. So those who have not received the first dose, please be proactive with each other, so the first dose needs to be completed, and the second dose is accelerated, "the Governor explained after reviewing vaccination at Islamic Center in Surabaya.
Meanwhile, Head of East Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati), Dr. HM Dofir, SH, MH, said, “This is the second dose of vaccination. I am grateful people of Surabaya are enthusiastic about participating in the vaccination today.”
“Today, 2000 people are taking part in the second stage of vaccination. Health workers and existing support personnels are collaborating among East Java Provincial Government, Surabaya City Government, and Brawijaya Military Command V, Regional Militaey Command II and East Java Regional Police," he said.
