Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. During January to May 2021, the Narcotics Task Force (Satgas) of the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police detected 3.6 tons or about 3,600 kilograms (Kg) of Crystal Meth-type drugs originating from a number of countries in Asia and Africa.
Director of Narcotic at Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Mukti Juharsa explained that from the data obtained, from 2021 to April alone, the National Police had succeeded in disclosing 2.5 tons of international network drugs originating from the Middle East.
And specifically the Drug Task Force Team of the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, which in just 22 days in the following month had succeeded in disclosing international network drugs from the Middle East (Iran) and Africa (Nigeria) with a total of 1,129 tons of Methamphetamine.
So it can be concluded that up to May 2021, approximately 3.6 tons of Methamphetamine type of narcotics entered Indonesia. This has made Indonesia a flood of drugs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
