Genbira Loka Zoo, Tugu Yogyakarta, and Malioboro area are almost always crowded with tourists during holidays, while the Monjali and Prambanan areas are potential points of traffic jam.
According to the Kabid Humas Polda Yogyakarta, the staff on the field still prioritizes educational activities. In addition to traffic control, the officers also inspect the vehicles.
"We also appeal to the people not to use sirens or rotators, except for the specified vehicle. Then, we also asked the trucks or other transporting vehicles not to exceed the capacity," stated Kabid Humas.
Kabid Humas Polda Yogyakarta also stated that reminding the people to comply with restrictions is also part of their duty. They also prepared masks to be given to the drivers on the road.
