inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate of Narcotics Crimes (Dittipid) of the Bareskrim Polri succeeded in dismantling two drug cases from different networks involving methamphetamine, ecstasy, and happy five psychotropic substances.
Director of Narcotics Crime Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Krisno Halomoan Siregar explained that the first drug case that was successfully dismantled was the Sumatra-Madura network and the second drug case was the Surabaya-Jakarta-West Kalimantan network.
"We are not only analyzing new cases, but also the old ones," he explained, Thursday (10/2/22).
Brigadier General Krisno Halomoan Siregar said that in Sumatra-Madura case, the police arrested MJ, B, AR a.k.a Dragon, SB, N, MK, AG, H, A and named them as suspects. Furthermore, the perpetrators with the initials of AT, AB, and AS were listed as fugitive. The police confiscated four cars and 25 kilograms of narcotics, 17 kilograms of those have been destroyed as evidence.
The Director of Narcotics, Bareskrim Polri, also said that the illicit goods came from Malaysia and entered through the islands of Sumatra and Java. The suspects then sent it by using a land route by car.
In the second case, the police arrested WC a.k.a S, YADN, W, AD, HS and identified as suspects, with O, T, and TL listed as fugitives. "We confiscated 17,032 ecstasy pills, 458 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 17 grams of marijuana and 20 happy fives," he said.
Other than the illicit goods, the investigators also seize the goods sales, including savings worth of Rp375 million, Rp153 million in cash, four cars, a letter of agreement to purchase a housing unit, and four BCA saving books.
Brigadier General. Pol. Krisno Halomoan Siregar also revealed that the goods sent from Jakarta, either to the courier or buyer or to Surabaya and circulated it around Sidoarjo, Blitar, Malang, Mojokerto.
The perpetrators bought accounts for their transaction which cost Rp3,000,000 per account.
