inp.polri.go.id - Banten. Natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and fallen trees have happened in several areas because of the downpour in Banten Province, Wednesday (2/3/22).
The worst natural disaster occurred in the Serang City area, so the Director of Directorate for Security of Vital Objects (Ditpamobvit) of the Banten Police (Polda Banten), Commissioner Edy Sumardi Priadinata, S.I.K., M.H., immediately dispatched his personnel to assist the communities affected by the flood disaster.
Dirpamobvit Polda Banten Commissioner Edy Sumardi Priadinata, S.I.K., M.H., said that he immediately ordered his personnel when there was a flood disaster in the Serang City area.
"The flood disaster that occurred on Tuesday morning caused damage in Serang City, without further delay we immediately jumped to help the community," stated Director of ditpamobvit (Dirpamobvit) Polda Banten.
Commissioner Edy Sumardi Priadinata, S.I.K., M.H., also explained that this activity is a manifestation of the role of the National Police being present in the community as the frontline in protecting, nurturing, and serving the community.
“This is part of our role in protecting, nurturing, and serving the community. Hopefully, with this activity, people affected by the disaster can be helped and hopefully, this flood disaster will soon pass," he concluded.
