Directorate Police of Water and Air, Banten Police Distributes One Ton of Rice for Coastal Communities

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Serang. Concerning on community’s life in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, Directorate of Air and Water Police of Banten Regional Police gave 1 ton of rice to community in Binuangeun Coast.

This was confirmed by Directorate of Water and Air of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Rustam Mansur when contacted by media crew. Wednesday, (07/28/21).

“Today we just visited people who live in Binuangeun. We carry out social services by distributing 1 ton of rice to people who live here, " Rustam Mansur said.

"This is Indonesia National Police concern, especially Directorate of Water and Air of Banten Regional Police to people living on coastal area within the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police," Police Grand Commisioner Rustam Mansur said.

Directorate of Water and Air of Banten Regional Police hopes the assistance can be useful for the people who receive it.

"I hope people will accept it, and I hope this assistance can be useful and can reduce their burden in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic," the Banten Police Intermediate Officer said.

In different place, Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi stated until now Banten Regional Police and their staffs are still distributing packages of nine-basic-needs to help community.

"We concern on community life in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, we, Banten Regional Police, will continue to distribute nine-basic-needs. Because we want to always be there for the community,” Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police explained.

Police Grand Commissioner. Edy Sumardi also invited entire community to work together to help government in breaking Corona virus spreading.

"Let's prevent virus transmission together by always implementing health protocols. Always wear mask wherever you are, wash your hands regularly, keep your distance, avoid crowds and reduce mobility. I hope with our disciplined health protocols, we can prevent the virus transmission," he concluded.
